JCNews is a Jonish-based global news network and television show owned by JRTO. It was originally launched in 2006 as Network News, changing it's name to JCNews in 2011. The JCNews television channel was launched in Jonas in 2018, and was internationalized in 2019. JCNews has been noted for it's accuracy and innovation, becoming the first news network to win a Jonish Media Alliance award for Best News Coverage in 2017.

History[]

JCNews originally launched following the 2006 Jonish revolution as Network News. It was mainly unrivalled until 2007, when Kanal 5 launched with 5 Nyheter.

The JCNews name first appeared in 2010, then phased in around early 2011, officially becoming the service's main name on the 21st of March the same year.

Controversy[]

JCNews gained some controversy in 2016, when they did a report on Jaydish immigrants. Hundreds of people protested against JCNews, saying their comments were racist. JCNews issued a formal apology on the 30th of September, 2016.
